“Vitamina Y” is Yilian Cañizares’ love letter to everyone who has supported her journey and believed in her dreams. It is a tribute to the power of love and mutual support, to the beauty of human connections—deep, playful, or full of complicity—that enrich and elevate our lives. With a luminous, rich, and deeply personal sonic world, Yilian celebrates the collective strength that has allowed her to grow as a woman, an artist, and a sensitive human being.
The album is born from a profound and long-standing collaboration with those she considers her “backbone”: Mozambican bassist Childo Tomas and Cuban percussionist Inor Sotolongo. Together, they create a sound full of energy, emotion, and creative freedom.
