For the first time, the Montreux Jazz Artists Foundation joins forces with the prestigious Jazz Plaza Festival in Havana to present an extraordinary gala featuring the Cuban winners of the legendary Montreux Jazz Festival competition.
Yilian Cañizares will embody the feminine note of this exceptional evening, alongside other outstanding talents such as Harold López-Nussa, Rolando Luna, and Jorge Luis Pacheco, who will bring to life a night devoted to musical excellence, virtuosity, and the richness of Cuban jazz.
The gala will take place on January 27, 2026, at the Sala Avellaneda of the National Theatre of Cuba, one of the country’s most iconic venues, and will gather the very best of the contemporary Cuban jazz scene.
