Yilian Cañizares takes part in a unique lyrical creation around Iphigénie en Tauride, presented by the AGORA collective, exploring a deeply relevant question: what does it mean to welcome the other, the foreigner, the one arriving in a land that is not their own?
Cuban by birth and Swiss by adoption, Yilian considers herself a citizen of the world. For this creation, she has composed three interludes blending programming, composition and improvisation, creating a space for freedom and experimentation inspired by the world of this opera.
